When you submit the contact form on this site, I collect the information you enter — name, email, phone if you give it, address if you're asking about selling, and any message — and it's emailed directly to me via Resend, the email service this site uses to deliver leads. I don't use a CRM or share this information with anyone else.

If you sign up for my newsletter at the end of a blog post, your email address is emailed to me the same way, and I add it to my newsletter, which I send through Compass. Nothing is sent to you from this site. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.

If you type an address, it is also sent to Google's Address Validation service so I can check it is a real, complete address before I start pulling comparable sales. Google gets the address only, not your name, email, phone or message.

A copy of each submission is also written to this site's server logs at Vercel, which hosts the site. That copy is a safety net in case an email fails to arrive, it is visible only to me and to Vercel, and Vercel deletes it automatically after a short retention period.

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to see which pages get visited and how fast they load. Both are cookieless and neither tracks you individually across sites.

The reviews shown on this site are sourced from Google and displayed with attribution, linking back to the original review.

If you'd like your information deleted, email ryan.garvey@compass.com and I'll remove it from my email. The server-log copy ages out on its own and cannot be deleted individually.
